Photographic Portraits can be catalysts in creating essential
dialogue on the topics of body image and self-identity
As a seasoned photographer, artist, and clinician, I have been on a mission to build a bridge between the fields of photographic art and clinical psychology. For many years now I have provided my clients with the experience of being "seen" and "mirrored" through the lens of my camera. Through the application of neuroscience, social theories, and doctrines of human perception, I have developed a customized process that uses photographic portraits in revealing and healing negative self-stories. I call it the Photo Identity Process.
